@Im_a_nerd__ Because after P’li passed, zaheer removed ALL his other attachments. They probably didn’t matter without her. Aang was attached to more than just Katara, he almost hurt Toph because of oppa
@ani_meme25 Ask mako how he managed to zap a blast while bloodbent, Amon being more focused on Korra probably gave him a chance to will his hand up more than Amon expected
@ani_meme25 Bloodbending can be resisted through sheer will and physicality, but it’s not very many who are that strong. That said Amon is also much better at bloodbending and overpowers his brother
@Ancient_Romes@kiyodia I don’t think the gap is as important as the scene implying that Aang took tenzin on trips he didn’t take bumi or Kya on. It doesn’t have much to do with airbending training at all. And if aang started training him as young as Tenzin trains his he was probably around
@naMnaSYt Being a child hero doesn’t always translate to being a great parent. Aang more than likely unintentionally favored Tenzin over his other kids. Them being the last airbenders and wanting to pass on and keep his culture alive realistically can create blind spots with his family
@Z3RO_GRAVITY_ I think for myself and a lot of people. At the end of every arc he involved in he resolves himself to train to become stronger and then when we see him again it’s like he never said any of that. Kinda like how vegeta said he was gonna never fight again after cell sage and boom
