@rgyatso@ChristinaMae82@gator_gum Honestly a good point. We recommended .5lb/ 8oz per person as a standard portion when I worked at a butcher shop. 1.66kg is 58oz roughly, split between 8 is a 7.25oz cut each. That actually is enough meat to reasonably feed 8 people with sides. Its also rib eye, so expensive.
@KyleMatovcik Rent costs more than any mortgage, thats how landlords work. Also i pay less than $2k a month for mortgage and land tax and paid $353k, so interest rate on their estimate must be horrific. Regardless, if you can afford to rent the same house you can afford the mortgage.
@karissapersists@thechosenberg If she chooses to leave it to him, he will get it. The same as if he chooses to give her money, she will get it. Assuming she did all the work for him based on his age doesn't make it true, you have 0 clue who did what work other than what the post states. Same as me.
@TurtizzleLive@thechosenberg Any good parent would give their kid the best advice possible simply to help them. What decent parent would have the knowledge, and not assist their kid? Regardless he owes her what he decides to give her, she isnt entitled to anything
@goldfisheater0@thechosenberg Regardless of where she gained the knowledge my point stands. Any good parent would give their kid the best advice they can for free. Weird how my mechanic dad can give me legal advice when in an injury settlement, but she was only able to because shes a corporate lawyer?
@goofygray@katherinista@Amys_theWise_1@thechosenberg There should have been a repayment plan in place if that was her intentions when paying for college. I dont think you understand that she is legally entitled to 0% of it. If he chooses to give her some he can, but she is not entitled to a penny.
@katherinista@Amys_theWise_1@thechosenberg I didnt see it mentioned anywhere that their claim was a million or more. Even if it was, why is she entitled to $150k for advice? If he wants to offer sure, but for her to act entitled to it is my issue.
@Tahj42@internett_baby Considering parental court very regularly leans to the mother's side off the bat, id say theyre not known to be biased towards men. Who said anything about punishing women other than you? As If not getting child support from a guy who is not the dad is somehow punishment...
@Tahj42@internett_baby In what way is proving the male is the father, ensures there is no argument in her getting child support misogynistic, or punishment? Not everything you dont like is misogyny. There are millions of loyal couples that would have no issue with this being a thing.
@JimmieGJones@thechosenberg Yeah for me id definitely offer some to my parents, they've definitely helped me progress alot. Not sure how id feel if they just expected it off the bat. Nothing tears families apart like money does ya know
@JimmieGJones@thechosenberg My whole issue is her feeling entitled to it. If op chose to give her some sure. But to say theyre owed %15 for advice, and the fact they offered to pay for their kids college education so that she can buy a new house is weird to me.
@Amys_theWise_1@thechosenberg Exactly, if the college fees were never expected to be paid back until OP got the claim its weird asf to use that to guilt them into giving you money. If they had an agreement in place, or had she actually represented him and not just given standard parental advice, its different
@JimmieGJones@thechosenberg She didnt do anything other than advise her child to push the lawyer back. Any good parent would give their kids the best advice the could free of charge. If there was no expectation of repayment for the college fees prior to the injury claim, she is not entitled to anything.
@WozzleBaby@thechosenberg Yeah she was going to do that wether there was an injury claim or not. That doesn't mean she is entitled to a penny. If there was a payback plan in place, then 100% pay what you owe. However if there was no expectation of repayment made clear, then it is ops money.
