President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill will help West Virginians! From No Taxes on Overtime, Tips, and Social Security to expanding the Child Tax Credit to securing our border, this bill puts working families first.
I am proud to endorse and support Josh Holstein for West Virginia GOP Chair!
Josh is a true conservative, born and raised right here in the Mountain State—Josh knows our values, our people, and how to win.
I'm all in on Josh! 🇺🇸 #WVGOP
The merchant soul. No ancestors buried on the hills which overlook our hometowns. No loyalty to home and hearth.
Goodbye. Stay out. “Let him depart; his passport shall be made…We would not die in that man’s company”
Why are people debating this? There is no debate.
A person who is conscious of grave sin is not to celebrate Mass or receive the body of the Lord without previous sacramental confession unless there is a grave reason and there is no opportunity to confess; in this case the person is to remember the obligation to make an act of perfect contrition which includes the resolution of confessing as soon as possible. Brian Thompson went from Jewell, Iowa (population 1,200) to leading 140,000 employees and overseeing $280B of revenue at one of the world’s most important companies. His mom worked as a beautician, his dad at a grain elevator—they were probably really proud when he graduated valedictorian of his 50-person high school class. He played basketball and the trombone, got elected homecoming king, and worked in soybean fields and meat processing plants during summers. While studying at the University of Iowa, he met the woman who would become his wife, with whom he would have two kids. By all accounts, he was smart, hard-working, funny, and a thoroughly decent man.
This guy—not the person who murdered him in cold blood—was everything that’s right and good about America, and the American Dream. May his memory be a blessing, and may his example inspire all of us to do better.
December is really confusing for non-Christian kids in public schools. Holiday shows and decorations and constant Christmas music playing. I don't know if teachers really consider all of this from their perspective.
