I don’t usually join panels, but given the news and my presence on the ground, I was asked to weigh in. Here’s my response to a panelist who appeared to be defending Vladimir Putin amid Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine:
“Do you want to save Ukrainian civilian lives, or would you rather hinder and kneecap what’s supposed to be your ally in its fight for survival against Russia? That’s simply what it comes down to now.”
US policy toward Russia & Ukraine is, in a word, shameful. Trump continues to do things FOR Russia & TO Ukraine. But where are the others, from @SecRubio to Republican senators? Do they really want to be seen by history as accomplices to appeasement? https://t.co/mREfLgwwAV
🚨BREAKING: This new chart from @TheStudyofWar overlays Ukraine’s strikes on Russian refineries with the price of diesel fuel. There is NO CORRELATION between strikes on Russian refineries and spikes in the price of diesel here in the U.S. They are not driving up prices here.
"Although not formally excluded, Putin has not attended a G20 summit in person since 2019...His attendance at the upcoming one should be seen as a mark of shame by all the other member states," argues the Miller Center's Eric Edelman.

“Moscow is not winning on the battlefield. Instead, it is seizing an opening to inflict immense human suffering in Ukrainian cities…Moscow thinks that one month of strikes could do what four winters of attacks never did: wreck Ukraine’s energy system.”👇👇👇
🚨 JUST IN: @SenatorShaheen and a group of bipartisan senators sent a letter to @DoW_IG calling for an investigation into the disruption of @SpaceX Starlink and Starshield systems in Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin's war on a sovereign European nation is deeply at odds with America's global interests.
Helping Ukraine win this war puts America First.
Zelensky is making the right choice. The only path to peace with Putin is to cut off his ability to finance the war. That means going after Russian oil and gas. The US should back up Ukraine by continuing full sanctions on Russia. Putin only understands strength and is disdainful of concessions. https://t.co/D98PMHPR5v
Fascinating and frightening @washingtonpost reporting on how residents of Donetsk province cope with the daily threat of Russian drone attacks. Yet the U.S. never condemns these attacks on civilians.

Zelenskyy tells @NPR the White House threatened to cut off intel sharing with Ukraine. @CBSNews reports the US may have deliberately withheld warnings of Russian strikes on Kyiv that killed 6. If true, these reports are shameful and awful.
