📈 RATING CHANGES
📉 RATING RESET
To combat rating inflation, we’re launching the new Battle Pass season with a soft rating reset.

📉 RATING DECAY
To keep ratings representative of current skill levels, ratings gradually decrease when a player becomes inactive. If you haven’t played a ranked Duel in the last 3 days, rating decay begins (starts slow, then increases)

📉 GOLD INACTIVITY & DEMOTION SHIELD
We’re also adding inactivity demotion to Gold Division, together with a new Demotion Shield. Your Shield protects you from one demotion in your current division. This can be from inactivity or from finishing below the demotion line. Once your Shield has been used, it’s gone until you move to another division. If you don’t play again the next week, or you finish in the demotion zone, will be demoted.

Players in Bronze through Gold divisions will be able to analyze their rounds and receive insights into potential clues they may have missed, helping them learn and improve after every game.

NEW MAPS PAGE IS COMING SOON!

We're bringing all Maps together in one place, making it easier to switch between official maps, community maps and liked maps.

As part of this update, we're also updating the Map Details page with a more modern design, more statistics and some quality-of-life improvements.

The update is currently being finalized and we're aiming to roll it out sometime next week.

👉 Starts after 2 days of inactivity
👉 Any Competitive Duel resets the timer
👉 Max lose 114 rating
👉 Can't decay below 500 rating
👉 See table for decay rate

Decay affects all rating & playing any Competitive Duel prevents all decay.
