Friday Flowers 💐🌹

Each year, on the Friday before homecoming, we celebrate the memory of Grandpa Roy by handing out flowers on the quad.

For more than 40 years, Roy Hiebert was our campus grandpa, blessing students with friendship, godly wisdom and flowers from his garden.

This Friday at 11:50, we’ll be handing out more than 500 flowers on the quad. Friday Flowers was inspired by Grandpa Roy, who for more than 40 years blessed George Fox students with friendship, godly wisdom and flowers from his garden. ⁠

It’s a record! For the second straight year, we’ve set an enrollment record with 4,339 students!⁠

109 serve sites. 1,058 pairs of gloves. 2,173 students and employees. 10,865 hours served. We got a little dirty and sweaty, but it was all worth it. What an amazing day serving our neighbors!

President Baker's Serve Day team went to Newberg Animal Shelter, where they pressure washed, organized, cleaned and of course loved on some puppies waiting to be adopted 🐾 ⁠
