We’re excited to announce that ‘George Michael: The Faith Tour’ is coming to the big screen later this year! 👀 Shot in Paris in 1988, the never-before-seen, long lost film has been restored & remastered. It will be introduced by an original short film from Mary McCartney.
How can you end WHAM! any more perfectly than in front of 72,000 people, still good friends, with a record at number one?” Today we are celebrating 40 years since George and Andrew performed their last show together at Wembley Stadium in 1986.
Today we celebrate the birthday of the original 'Young Gun' and the extraordinary music he gifted us, which continues to bring joy, love and inspiration to millions around the world. Turn the music up and 'Go For It'!
Happy Birthday, George. ❤️
June 23 1989 - George received the Silver Clef Award for his outstanding contributions to British music. He also bid £55,000 for a guitar during the auction fundraiser, but like previous owners, put in the highest bid and then gave the guitar back to be auctioned next year.
The leather jacket, ripped jeans, cross earring and sunglasses from the “Faith” video remain one of pop’s most recognisable looks. Confident and sexy, it was the look that introduced George as a brand-new artist. #PrideMonth

"It was like 'oh my god I'm a massive star, and I think I may be a poof'"
When George was outed by the British press in 1998, he overcame it with his sense of humour. He was unapologetically proud of his sexuality and refused to be shamed by homophobic attitudes. #PrideMonth
