After four years in India, it is time for me to move on to my next posting in Beijing.

Auf Wiedersehen, India - I will be back again! 🇮🇳🇩🇪✈️
India is one of Germany’s most important business partners. Our trade volume will increase further with the implementation of the FTA. The positive outlook of our industries was palpable at the Indo-German Industries Dialogue yesterday.
#WATCH | Delhi: German Ambassador to India and Bhutan, Philipp Ackermann, says, "I am very happy to be here at the Indo-German Industries Dialogue. It's an extremely important meeting as German business meets Indian business and also Indian policymakers... I think I'm very confident that this relationship will grow in the years to come. Germany is India's biggest trading partner in Europe, with more than $50 billion in trade volume a year. It is one of the most important partners business-wise with India, and this volume will grow; this amount will grow over the years. I am very confident that in years to come you'll see more German business with the FTA, more German engagement, and more investment in India. The Prime Minister in our bilateral relations has been an extremely forthcoming, extremely engaged partner. We have seen him as somebody who is really deeply interested in this bilateral relationship..."
I am shocked and saddened by the terrible tragedy caused by the floods in #Assam.
My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones and with everyone affected in these challenging times.
