De La Rosa has had a tremendous career for @culionsmbb and we’ve gotten to cover many of his games over the years. One thing that’s for certain is he will fill up the basket in a hurry. 

De La Rosa must be accounted for wherever he is on the floor, as he’s a threat from long distance off the catch, dribble or off ball action.

He can get into the lane and finish at the cup or in the lane for floaters and runners. Once the defense gets too locked in on stopping him, he uses his gravity to find open teammates for easy baskets of their own. #Columbia #Ivy #Dominican #Nike

Columbia’s Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa has earned Lute Olson National Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. The 6-foot-2 senior posted a career-high 37 points on Saturday, helping the @CULionsMBB (7-0) to their best start since 1969. For the week De La Rosa averaged 29 points, while shooting 70% from the field. @IvyLeague

The 2025 Lou Henson National Player of the Year award will be announced in April in San Antonio, site of the 2025 men’s NCAA basketball championship.
