ONE WORD THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE inspires you to narrow your focus, simplify, and live with more clarity, purpose, and passion. Discover your ONE WORD.
Don’t let the pace of life, negative thinking, or fears kill your vision. Do whatever it takes to hear from God over the noise of life and pursue the vision God has planted in your soul. One person with a God-sized vision can change the world.
We read a book One Word for Kids at the beginning of the year and students pick one word to be their motto for their year and they get to then create a bracelet or necklace with their word and decorative beads. I need to restock. They absolutely LOVE this! https://t.co/t92U7vEsAZ

@nellz70@CatieBrien Thanks for the space to share! I love to read ONE WORD for Kids the first week of school and have the students make "one word" bracelets with their word for the year on them. After doing this a few times, I need a refresh. https://t.co/t92U7vEsAZ
Over 1 million people have been impacted by the One Word movement that began in 1999. One Word for Kids is impacting schools around the world. Join the movement. Make next school year the best ever! #OneWordForKids
True leadership is marked by the ability to create lasting relationships. It is easy to burn bridges, but remember that each connection has the potential to contribute to God’s greater mission. Choose to nurture relationships. Great leaders build bridges never burn bridges!
Goodrich TRACKS alums came together for their final connection of the 2025–2026 school year. Inspired by @JonGordon11 One Word, scholars reflected on the power a single word can hold and then paid it forward by creating “One Word” cards for Ms. Steph’s transitioning Rousseau Preschool scholars.
A reminder that leadership, encouragement, and purpose are often passed on one word and one relationship at a time. #LPSLastWeekLPS2026
We expect change in others that we often don’t expect in ourselves. Think about someone living out your One Word…what impact would you expect in their life? The ultimate question is, “Are you willing to let One Word change you the way you want your One Word to change others?”
Do you have your one word for the year yet? If not, it’s not too late to pick yours. One word gives you meaning and mission, passion and purpose. It’s also a great team building exercise.
Try this:
Have each person on your team share their one word with the rest of the team and share why you chose it!
One of my favorite life principles that Jon Gordon always says is, “Invest in the root if you want more fruit.” Great leaders focus on developing the heart. The amount of fruit we produce is the result of how much we take care of the root.
