Excited to share that I've joined @nothing as the U.S. Community Representative.
I've spent years in tech communities as a member, creator, moderator, and enthusiast. Some of my favorite experiences in tech haven't come from the devices themselves, but from the people, conversations, and friendships built around them.
Now I have the opportunity to help grow and strengthen the Nothing community here in the United States.
My goal is simple:
β’ Help creators grow
β’ Help community members get involved
β’ Help connect people who share a passion for technology
Whether you're a creator, reviewer, photographer, gamer, or someone who simply loves tech, I'd love to hear from you.
So let me ask:
What would you like to see from the Nothing community in the U.S.?
Events? Meetups? Creator opportunities? Review programs? Something completely different?
Drop your ideas below π
Let's build something great together.

Building a consumer tech company is ultimately about reaching people. Today @nothing products launch at @BestBuy across the US, 500+ stores nationwide and online. This is a major step in our U.S. expansion, with more to come.
We just shared a new Community post to make software updates and rollouts easier to follow.
Small step, but hopefully a useful one.

Memory is now the most expensive component in a smartphone. It's more expensive than the processor, more expensive than the display, and can account for more than 50% of the total hardware bill.
For Phone (4a), memory costs doubled between when we decided to build the device and when it launched. They've doubled again since.
I posted about this earlier this year. It's now playing out, faster than predicted.
Phone prices are going up, and they'll keep going up into next year. Since February, new phones have been launching up to $100 more expensive than their predecessors. In India, phones above βΉ30K have seen price jumps of βΉ7,000 or more.
The natural instinct is to buy ahead. It doesn't work that way. In a shortage, memory is allocated, not bought. You get what you're given, at the current price.
If you've been waiting to upgrade a device, the best time was yesterday. The next best time is now. This year's sale season won't have the discounts people are used to.
I flew to London and spent the day with Carl Pei, co-founder and CEO of Nothing.
Carl already helped build one breakout phone company with OnePlus. Now heβs doing it again with Nothing, but in a much harder market.
Most phone companies compete on the same things: better cameras, faster chips, bigger batteries, and slightly brighter screens.
Nothing made a different bet: make the product instantly recognizable, make the software feel considered, and make the brand something people actually want to be part of.
I went behind the scenes with Carl and the team to see how they're building the next great consumer electronics company.

First time properly testing Tesla FSD this past week. For those who haven't tried: enter a location on the map and the car takes you there automatically.
v14.3.3 is wild. Parking still needs work, but the productivity gain is insane: calls, meetings, thinking, vibe coding ideas.
You get used to it surprisingly fast. From now on, I'll only drive traditional cars mostly for fun, not because I have to.
When we started @nothing, many people said it would be impossible to succeed as a consumer hardware startup.
Today, we're ranked #2 on the inaugural @Siftedeu Consumer 100.
Proud of our team! Thanks Sifted and @SXSW.
