Look at the date on this article (Nov 29, 2007). Five years, ten years after this article, we had clearly failed to make any dent in the market.
That is why we say "Your life's work, powered by our life's work" on our website.
Find your life's work and do it. Then stop worrying about success. Staying alive while doing our life's work, that is success for us.
Saying “we take privacy seriously” is easy. Doing it is not.
One example: when you visit a website or an app, they typically have dozens of trackers (digital Trojan horses) embedded to monitor your activity without your explicit permission. This has become an accepted practice in the industry. But should it be?
As a practice, we eliminated all third-party trackers from our websites and apps. Even web fonts can be Trojan horses, so we designed our own font for our properties.
There are many layers to privacy. The layer at which a company operates shows how serious it truly is.
Arattai is now #1 on both Play Store and App Store. A proud and humbling moment for us. Thank you all for making this possible!💛

How serious a company is about privacy can be measured by the number of trackers on its website.
Each tracker is a Trojan horse. We get tracked, they get "free" stuff like analytics.
Ulaa’s privacy report reveals how many trackers each site hides. What’s the worst you’ve seen?
"What we have built is a bridge where customers can pick a model, maybe it is a generic LLM, for their entire instance. So the bridge plays a key role in the broader agentic model." @rajuv@Zoho#ZohoDay25
Kicking off #ZohoDay25 with @svembu keynote sharing thoughts on the overarching world view of #AI and also how that will impact customers.
It's especially interesting that he says out loud what we don't often hear from ANY other tech industry leaders: we need universal basic income - #AI will decimate the jobs industry.

Today my patient who underwent liver transplantation in 2022 after alcohol-related chronic liver failure came for his scheduled follow up two months late. The liver donor was his daughter who used to accompany him every time for his surveillance visit. This time, she was absent and instead his wife accompanied him.
Complete silence in the room and I knew what had happened without them telling me. He had three alcoholic drinks a few weeks ago. Two years after he found himself on a ventilator and a life saving liver transplantation that was done while his daughter was still pursuing her higher studies. She dropped a whole year to give part of her liver that went on to save her Papa.
I asked him for a justification for his behaviour. His best friend visited him after a long time and they went out for dinner and he offered him a drink. It was two long years and he was doing so well. So why not? This was his friend's justification and he played along.
As I referred him for a psychiatrist session, I offered him a bit of advice and a reminder. When he was sick and in and out of a coma, his daughter gave him a part of her liver, his wife went around town begging and crowd funding for the money to make that transplant happen. Even if he had forgotten about it, I clearly remember not seeing any of his friends out there in the hospital when he was inside the ICU or when it was time to pay the bills.
"Surround yourself with people who will bring the best out of you, not the worst, make you a better person, and lift you up higher not pull you down lower, and will never let you down and prevent you from letting yourself down."
Some friends are worse than enemies.
For those who don't remember, in 2010, McAfee had a colossal glitch with Windows XP that took down a good part of the internet. The man who was McAfee's CTO at that time is now the CEO of Crowdstrike. The McAfee incident cost the company so much they ended up selling to Intel.
