Friends…if you can attend please do. I wish I was able. So humbled to have ever been in @gilesduley online presence and given guidance and advice over the last few years. He is such an inspiration and the work he does is more important than I can express.
My friend, photographer & humanitarian @gilesduley, is hosting a special dinner and art exhibition in New York to help Ukraine. I'm going on May 20. Want to join us?

On his final day as the UN Global Advocate for Persons with Disabilities in Conflict, @gilesduley delivered a stark message: the world is still failing people with disabilities living through war.

I thank @gilesduley as he steps down as the 1st @UN Global Advocate for Persons with Disabilities in Conflict. His integrity & courage amplified the voices of people impacted by landmines & explosives, reminding us that dignity & inclusion must remain at the centre of our work.
"Too often, people with disabilities are presented as inspiration, as resilient people, and of course, they are.
But that means the stories of those left behind who are truly vulnerable are often ignored or forgotten. We can't romanticize the idea of disability." - @gilesduley

It is a great honor for me to lead the Government of Ukraine today.
Our Government sets its course toward a Ukraine that stands firm on its own foundations — military, economic, and social. My key goal is real, positive results that every Ukrainian will feel in daily life.
War leaves no room for delay. We must act swiftly and decisively. Our priorities for the first six months are clear: reliable supply for the army, expansion of domestic weapons production, and boosting the technological strength of our defense forces.
This same urgency must apply to the economy, as we make every effort to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
In this regard, we need swift and tangible actions — comprehensive deregulation, an end to unlawful pressure on business, acceleration of large-scale privatization, and further implementation of effective support tools.
The goal is clear: “Made in Ukraine” must become a mark of strength across more goods, more industries, and markets.
Additionally, we have already begun optimizing the state apparatus and are launching a full audit of public spending, aiming for real savings.
No political loyalties — only numbers and real results.
I am grateful to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his trust. Grateful to the Parliament for its support. Grateful to Denys Shmyhal and his team for their service.
We continue — for victory, for recovery, for Ukraine.
Endorsed! @gilesduley is the most inspirational person I've ever met. But he rightly asks you to look past his personal story and focus on his (remarkable) work. Treat yourselves to the day-job of The One-Armed Chef. And a glorious Independence Day to all in the U.S.!
