We did it! We're closing the #ThriveBeyondBarriers project at Essau SSS with our #MHDay2026 commemoration, having reached our target of 2,000 schoolgirls with menstrual health education and reusable menstrual products.

Students proudly displayed the reusable sanitary pads and storage bags they made during their Home Science lesson.

The session was led by their Home Science teacher, who we trained as a trainer in reusable sanitary pad production.

Ending period poverty is everyone's responsibility.

Men and boys have an important role in supporting menstrual health.

We encourage fathers, brothers, uncles and teachers to see buying sanitary pads as a normal act of care.

We also involve them in learning how to make reusable sanitary pads in schools and local communities.

With support from Amplify Change, we trained 100 school teachers and community youth educators through our Training of Trainers programme on reusable sanitary pad making.

Together, we are reducing period poverty and improving menstrual health.
