58TH PREMIERES AT CINEMALAYA!
After making its mark in international film festivals, “58th” finally premiered before Filipino audiences last night at the 2026 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.

The animated documentary by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures stars Glaiza De Castro (@glaizaredux) as Reynafe Castillo, who continues her years-long search for answers and recognition for her father as the 58th victim of the Maguindanao massacre.

The film also features the last theatrical performance of the late Ricky Davao, alongside Mikoy Morales, Biboy Ramirez, Marco Masa, and Zyren Dela Cruz.

A powerful story of grief, truth, and the continuing pursuit of justice.
