@rand_longevity Just to preempt the response, I work at a religious site doing AV / IT support. So we will at least need robotics to be cheap enough to deploy everywhere to do my job. I have 0 doubts that the diagnostic part could be done by AI, but the physical aspect will take a bit longer.

@SerendipitousOr I think people vastly underestimate the speed in which this will happen. They did it for full code automation, math, IMO gold, and others. I think RSI and AGI are right around the corner as well.

@Angaisb_ Google is clearly capable of making big models, but right now they seem to lack the near monthly release cadence of anthropic and open ai. If they can't keep up in that department they are just going to be jumping ahead once a quarter.
