The only DIII Men's Basketball program in the Triangle!
What an unbelievable night at The Garden! It’s hard to even explain the feeling in that building. Two unbelievable teams, high-level competitors and a building pulsing with emotion and passion.
It was so great to see Karl, De’Aaron and Keldon, as well as two of my other great big guys - Marcus Camby and Dakari Johnson!
I am so happy for my friends Leon Rose and William Wesley and the staff in New York for what they have built.
I got to spend some time with all the Knicks Alums, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock but I was too nervous to introduce myself to Taylor Swift! LOL!
Watching those two teams, with their guards showing incredible fight, focused on winning and and MAKING OTHERS BETTER, I couldn’t help but think about two guards in this upcoming draft who do the same things. Darius Acuff and Meleek Thomas along with Trevon Brazile are going to make a couple of franchises very happy!!
CANT WAIT TO START COACHING MY TEAM!!!!
Now back to recruiting!!
I come back to this speech every once in a while:
“in the 1,526 singles matches I played in my career, I won almost 80% of those matches
… what percentage of points do you think I won in those matches?
only 54%.”
We are excited to add another great person to our team in the heart of downtown Raleigh! 🐎

Mitch Johnson talks about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander:
"You talking about Shai's free throws ???? I think probably half of them were from us being undisciplined first off the floor. He got us out of position and took advantage of it. Those 12 free throws helped out a lot and I can remember at least a few in my head right now that were undisciplined on our end"
Senior tradition - pickup with coaches and alums. One of my favorite traditions we’ve established at Peace. Can’t wait to continue to celebrate Shawn tomorrow!!
Duncan Robinson’s love of basketball started with his big brother, Eli. But when Eli got older, he began to struggle.
It takes incredible strength to share a story like this. Thank you, Duncan, for your vulnerability. Well done @mcten. I know this hit close to home.
McCollum putting a lot of these coaches barking about needing more NIL on notice man. Still have to be able to evaluate and put the pieces in the right place
