New record for Mexico 🇲🇽🧤

Mexico are through to the Round of 16, and Raúl Rangel has now kept a clean sheet in each of his first four FIFA World Cup appearances.

The previous Mexican record belonged to Ignacio Calderón, who recorded three consecutive clean sheets during the 1970 group stage before Mexico were eliminated in their first knockout match.

Rangel now stands alone with four straight clean sheets and he'll have the chance to extend the record in the Round of 16 as Mexico chase the long-awaited quinto partido. 🇲🇽✨
