Ok now that I have your attention, I need a parent from @golf_whs to take over this twitter account. If you are interested let me know. I have no idea what the password is, we can figure that out later.
Let’s take a moment and appreciate Tea Titans Golfer Keeton Newborg! Today as a SEVENTH GRADER competed in the South Dakota State High School A Boys Golf Tournament. He started on the back nine and shot a 52, then turned his game around and on the front nine shot a 39! Congrats!!
Congratulations to this great group of young men and good luck in the upcoming endeavors. They will be missed. @NWoodall2@hankeggy@WillGrevlos and Sam Torbert. @whsdr
A couple of old guys got together to coach a former Warrior and her college golf team. Unfortunately it was last weekend and the tourney was snowed out. @whsdr
One of the first high school stories I wrote for the Argus was on the four city schools coming together in support of former Washington assistant golf coach Ken Martens, who had been diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma. Ken passed away Monday. https://t.co/kAyr1pgRd2
“Ken, his heart was always in the right place and he cared a lot for these kids.” A story on former @golf_whs assistant coach Ken Martens, who passed away Monday morning. #ArgusPreps#SDPreps 📰: https://t.co/KUmzF0SOPd
Today we lost a great friend of Warrior Golf. The lessons he taught our boys were not just golf lessons, they were life lessons. Coach Ken you will be missed.
Congratulations to the newly Recognized Executive Director and Recognized Program Director! They both received honors at The First Tee Network Meeting in Orlando.
Welcoming two home town guys to the Cougar family, Nathan Woodall (left) and Hank Eggebraaten (right), from Washington High School. All three signees are in and we are excited for the 2018 class to get on campus next fall! #GoCoo
