This is an appreciation post for Advocate Mahlape Sello SC. In recent months she has been the most hardworking Evidence Leader, leading a lot of witnesses that have appeared, but also mentoring and assisting the younger Advocates when it's their turn to lead evidence. I don't know what she takes to maintain such a sharp mind, her energy is at peak from 9h30 till 5pm. 😅 No nonsense, zero tolerance attitude to lies of course. You'll hear it in her tone when you are trying to play tricks. She can almost scream. 😂

Ma'am we honour you. You have served the nation, from the days of Marikana Inquiry, Zondo Commission, Phalaphala Section 89 Panel, and now the Madlanga Inquiry. God Bless you and your family Mme Sello. South Africans love you. Re a leboha. 🙏🏽❤️🇿🇦💐

That ENCA journalist must tell us where he learned about Khan's shooting. He tweeted about it at 23:18. At 23:04, Khan was at his lawyers' offices, sending paperwork. The reporter was on the scene and had already confirmed who it was by 23:18. The timeline does not make sense.

Chair asked Advocate Khan whether he practices as an independent or is a member of a Bar, because as far as he knows, maybe things have changed, he said, there was a rule that members would have to seek permission first before they conduct interviews in the media and he wondered if Khan got permission. Look at him looking worried there. Pasop! 🙄

Why are some mainstream media journalists and outlets hell-bent on peddling the propaganda against South Africa?

I can understand why tweleps would do such, but to what end or benefit do these journos gain from this?

At a time when trust in mainstream media is at its lowest because of misinformation and the rise of citizen journalism, why further put the credibility of the fourth pillar of democracy?

And yes, this is sparked by the Mail & Guardian egg on face debacle and the way the likes of Lester Kiewit have been moving these days.

A simple phonecall to verify the story could have saved M&G this embarrassment.

What I like about the Commission and the reason why I knew O'Sullivan's appearance here will be different from the Adhoc Committee's. Here Chair Madlanga just had to make him aware that he knows so much, even probably more, about the Glen Agglioti and Bret Kebble murder, and the Jackie Selebi issues.

He was appointed as a Chair of a four member panel to assess whether a decision that had been taken by Advocate Vusi Pikoli, the then National Director of Public Prosections to prosecute General Selebi, the then National Commissioner of SAPS. Pikoli was replaced by Advocate Mpshe as Acting NDPP and needed advice as to whether Pikoli's decision was correct or not.

Look at how surprised O'Sullivan looks that Chair is not in the dark about these issues he tends to relate as his achievements. 😂😅

The Spreadsheet and Infographic that Advocate Chaskalson prepared and sent to Carrim's lawyers, which is causing all this drama from his legal team, reveals a breakdown of amounts of R336 million transactions of payments from Municipalities in which Carrim is ANC Treasurer, to various companies owned by him.

Advocate said they can take the time to go through it with him, every single transaction if they so wish. Then he must come and answer. My God these people are corrupt!! 😭

This is Advocate Matthew Chaskalson SC's dad, the late former Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa from 2001-2005. He died in December 2012.

He was an anti apartheid Human Rights lawyer who formed part of the defence team that represented ANC MK activists during the Rivonia Trial of 1963, Nelson Mandela, Govan Mbeki, Walter Sisulu and others, who were sentenced to life imprisonment.

I would like to believe that Matthew is dealing with the people accused of corruption at #MadlangaCommission so decisively and with conviction, in honor of those who sacrificed their lives for this country and in memory of his father.

We see your work Advocate. We get upset when you appear too soft and lenient, but excited and inspired when you tighten the grip. 😅 We are behind you all the way as the law abiding citizens of this country and we Thank You for your leadership and hard work as Chief Evidence Leader. Many questions have been asked of the properties ex Ekurhuleni MM Imogen Mashazi has and lives in. I did a post in 2023 November , she did send me a lawyers letter to delete the post, I said I will meet her in court but pls use less Botox. Did not hear from her again. Her main residential house in one of the mode expensive estates far from Ekurhuleni, closer to you sandton side:

House in Serengeti: value unknown
A house in an estate in kZN where houses sell for R20 million and more.

She had 2 Bentleys
2 Lamborghini’s
1 Ferrari
3 BMW X5

The cars were fully paid for but had a lease agreement with a motor dealership ( I know this dealership)
Her pay scale was about R 4 million per year. Besides Allegedly looting, she ran a syndicate were business had to pay her protection fee. Where does the ANC get these type of corrupt people. Next tweet which she publicly mentioned about is her HERMÈS Birkin collection. She said she has 48. You will be shocked to the core. I looked picturers of Nomvula Mokanyane representing the ANC in the Labour conference last year, every day she had a different Hermes Birkin.
