We all say that web3 is the future
But when it comes to product quality, we are lagging WAY behind web2
→ users reporting errors in discord
→ devs manually looking for errors in explorers
→ and so many more weird situations
Well, now is the time to fix it: meet Tokamai 👇
I was expecting a much tougher transition for @gotokamai validator with those slots reduction
But at the end of the day, at 250ms it’s never ran better and never been more reliable in terms of profit
RIP THE BANDAID BOSS
I haven’t changed my profile pic since I won the @solana Hyperdrive hackathon and stayed loyal to @RadiantsDAO
But this new @SCUMSOL art hits TOO HARD
And I stay loyal to the doggo, bonk bonk
I have been following @SCUMSOL for almost 5 years now
When I minted @DeGodsNFT I really liked the art
But when degods went v2, the scum traits designs hit me so hard
I’m glad to be a Slimes holder and to now be in possession of this beautiful piece with its physical
Exciting!
I shouldn’t say this but
I have no bullish thesis on this bull market for now
SOL? Already bet hard in both previous bull markets
BTC? Same
My main bets are @doublezero, @jtx_trade and @JupiterExchange
But it’s hard to really say why precisely
What’s next for you?
The best way to get over obstacles,
is through them.
Cat now brings you a completely reworked @LaunchOnSF trading & info terminal, empowering you to make your own choices.
Leverminal 2.0 beta is now live.

This is why Tokamai starts from errors.
Metrics tell you something is wrong. On Solana the hard part is "what exactly failed, and inside whose program".
If you came over from EVM, what tripped you up first?
Coming from EVM, the thing that breaks your brain about Solana errors:
a failed transaction still lands on chain. And you still pay for it.
There's no revert string to catch 🧵
Then there's CPI.
Your program calls another program, that one fails, and the error surfaces at your instruction index.
Now you're debugging someone else's code through your own stack trace. Good luck reproducing it locally.
99% of Solana devs have a hard time monitoring mainnet
So they just… don’t
I’m looking for a few @solana devs to get early access to Tokamai open source edition
Yes, your clankers are first class citizen

I’ve bought 100% of my crypto with fiat on @krakenfx
Every once in a while they make me proud I trusted them
And today they did the most important thing for my most important blockchain network, @solana - voting yes on 0002
To a thousand years Kraken empire 🥂
Worth doing before it ships:
→ measure CU consumed per instruction, not the limits you set
→ find the instructions where the gap is worst
→ tighten those first
Most teams have never looked at that number. The gap is usually embarrassing.
Have you checked yours?
Multiple crucial decisions are being taken right now on Solana.
And votes close today.
Everyone's covering the burn number. The part that changes how you actually write programs is quieter 🧵
So every request you padded "to be safe" becomes a line item.
Honest caveat: I'm not clear yet on how cost units map to compute units at the terminal 0.5 lamport rate. It also ramps in through feature gates, not all at once.
The direction isn't ambiguous though.
A pattern we keep seeing after program upgrades:
Total error rate looks flat. Volume too.
But one instruction goes from 0.2% failures to 4%.
Averaged across the program, invisible. For the users hitting it, everything is broken.
Monitor per instruction, not per program.

Woke up to find one of my rascally ass collectors @SolanaMalos started a token of one of my characters, El Cucuy and sent me the fees.
Out of transparency I am not endorsing this token. Nor am i trading/selling 🤍.
I will donate some fees to my non-profit @somos_axolotl
