@wolffytheking I think itโs valid for you to feel that way and not taboo at all, sadly people come and go but youโve had a profound impact on those peoples lives and should feel proud of the good that you do
Everyones situations different, some people canโt afford it and others donโt have the space for it/right window.
I just bought an AC unit a month ago and it isnโt a cure-all. Itโs noisy AF and doesnโt cool the room well, just blasts cold air, which is nice but doesnโt fix the problem.
I agree that people need to proactively try to fix the problems they complain about but not everyone is in a position where theyโre able to.
Please be patient to UK content creators
We are currently being hit with a pretty intense heatwave, meaning we'll probably be working a tad slower, have less energy and may even need to take a break from our PCs to prevent them from overheating
Also none of this "Well we have it hotter over here" bs:
- UK heat is built different
- Most of us don't have ACs since we rarely NEED them for most of the year
- Our houses are built to keep heat in due to how cold our weather can get
- We aren't as used to hot weather given how 80% of the year, UK weather isn't hot
We're not trying to dispute who has it worse/hotter, we just want patience and understanding ๐

Scientists in Japan have developed a groundbreaking treatment that could double the average lifespan of cats, extending it from around 15 years to nearly 30 years.
The key lies in a protein called AIM (Apoptosis Inhibitor of Macrophage), discovered by Dr. Toru Miyazaki. While cats naturally produce AIM, they lack the ability to activate it effectively. This deficiency leads to the gradual buildup of waste in the kidneys, the leading cause of death in domestic cats.
Dr. Miyazakiโs team created an injectable form of activated AIM that directly restores the kidneysโ natural cleaning function. In clinical trials, cats with advanced kidney disease showed dramatic improvement after treatment. The therapy works both as a preventive measure for healthy cats and as a treatment for those already ill.
If approved, the treatment could revolutionize feline healthcare. Commercial rollout is expected to begin in Japan as early as 2025, with wider availability projected for 2027.
The research has also sparked interest for its potential applications in human medicine, as the AIM protein plays a similar waste-clearing role across species.
I'm by no means a big streamer, why could they not just be happy with the free random gifty and keep this to themself?
Any other streamers out there got any funny comments viewers have made?
