Real pleasure to promote another key speaker for our May 8th Personalised Care conference. Dr Benjamin Ellis MBE. From breaking into the top ranks of NHS strategy through advising Chief Medical Officer Liam Donaldson, Benjamin has continuously pursued innovations in MSK. He has been a prominent researcher and influencer through his NHS Rheumatology consultant role and with @VersusArthritis. He’ll be leading a workshop on his latest project developing coaching style approaches to pain management in NW London, alongside lived experience expert @lvaughan1974 . What a combination @SocialPrescrib2@loulouscorpio@FlippinPain@PainConcern

Pleasure to profile some of our keynote speakers for our May conference. First up @alfcollins. He has been a friend and mentor to so many of us in the personalised care field. He has led the NHS England personalised care team for last 8 years and been the architect behind so many of the new roles - #healthcoach #socialprescribing #carecoordinator in the NHS. Modest but hugely impactful. His reflections on progress so far and future potential will be unique, and super insightful. We are honoured to have him open our day together @Pers_Care@Pers_Care_Inst@JamesCSanderson@AimeeRobson4@lowcarbGP @NHS_GM @NHS_GM
Excited to announce tickets now live for our annual conference, May 8th. If last year any indication it will be a focal point to connect, share and inspire from all those dedicated to building personalised care in the NHS and beyond.

Who do you know who would benefit from coaching ? Invite them to take the next step and visit my new coaching website https://t.co/LzP8OLkRls. Life coaching, professional development and a whole lot more!
@JamesCSanderson@NHSEngland Yes we just need to drop the term ‘advisers’ as in my view, ‘advising’ and ‘telling’ are really the same thing. The first just sounds nicer! Providing Information that people can understand and trusting their thinking is entirely different. Mindset shift.
@dr_shibley I think tricky to get a term that everyone, across continents, is going to agree on. It’s simply how knowledgable, skilful and confident people assess themselves as being, in managing their health and healthcare.
Interesting discussion- people are talking about it...let’s make some changes to the advice we give. Unfortunately the last question about fasting didn’t get a comment from the panel. https://t.co/bNuxbR7lax
Check out the panel discussion at the SwissRe/BMJ conference in Zurich last week on #LCHF diets for #T2D. Glad to be part of this important discussion to move forward on #diabetesreversal@virtahealth@bmj_latest https://t.co/VMifqkWyl8
@ralanshirley@louisebrady17 @kstorey63 @RCNGPNForum @sarah_searz @GPracticeNurse@TheQNI@gpnreport @ArtsHelp @NurseEdUK @rhianlast Be confident that people have the biggest contribution to make to their own health and health care. Be skilful in encouraging people to think well for themselves.
