Many cancers stay hidden until it is too late. When cancer is diagnosed after it has spread distantly, it is more difficult to treat and typically has worse outcomes.
Diagnosing cancer before Stage IV can make a meaningful difference. For a growing number of cancers, treatment with curative intent may still be possible at Stage III.

Galleri cannot replace other cancer screening tests. The Galleri test is intended to be used in addition to recommended single cancer screening tests, including screening tests for lung cancer for high-risk smokers, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer. Using the Galleri test alongside existing cancer screening programs, such as mammograms and colonoscopies, is expected to maximize early cancer detection. Galleri is designed to detect a signal shared by multiple cancers including many unscreened cancers.

Melissa didn’t take a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test once and leave it at that. She made MCED testing part of her annual health routine.
The first year, the test did not detect a cancer signal. The second year, she received a Cancer Signal Detected result with a predicted origin of liver/bile ducts. Melissa felt healthy and had no symptoms. Follow up diagnostic testing confirmed Stage I bile duct cancer.
Now she’s using her story to encourage others to keep cancer screening part of the conversation, year after year.

When Doreen volunteered for the NHS-Galleri trial evaluating a multi-cancer early detection (#MCED) test, she never expected the study would identify a signal for #lymphoma in her own blood.
Follow-up testing confirmed a Stage I-II lymphoma diagnosis and Doreen was able to promptly begin treatment. Today, she’s back on her bike and sharing her journey to help others understand the importance of #EarlyCancerDetection.
