What we did to these men is a not just a profound injustice but a crime, a mark of national shame. They were (and are) political prisoners. None of them should have ever spent a day behind bars.
DSA Co-Chair Megan Romer says "We believe in taxing the hell out of millionaires."
She then struggles to explain what that actually means:
Remnick: "What does 'taxing the hell out of them' mean?"
Romer: "Yeah. You know, again, I don't have, like, a solid…"
Remnick: "But shouldn't you?"
Romer: "Ummmmm, that's a good question."
Remnick: "If you're the co-chair of the DSA, shouldn't you be more specific than just taxing the hell out of something? What exactly do you mean?"
Romer: "So again, it's democracy, right?…"
This is the Democrat party 'Big Tent.'
@_SiakaMassaquoi@MattWalshBlog Also, you need to stop repeating the “nanny dog” myth and denying the breeding history of pits in America.
Better to just concede the facts and admit that you are taking a chance.
I found the link that Claude sources and the 15 number is one of the wildly inconsistent data points on the page.
Read through it and you’ll see what I mean.
I would throw the “World Animal Foundation” out as a source, not because I don’t like its numbers…seriously, read the entire page.

@_SiakaMassaquoi@not_voltaire@MattWalshBlog So, you can fill the entire Pit Nutter Bingo card, can’t you?
Pits were bred in America SPECIFICALLY for fighting.
John P. Colby.
Look him up.
Former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom has declared himself a WNBA prospect, says he meets every requirement necessary.
The 6 ft 10 in, 250 pound player says he reviewed the WNBA eligibility criteria and has decided to declare himself eligible for the 2027 WNBA draft.
The announcement comes after some WNBA coaches and players have announced their support of men in women’s sports.
“My team and I have carefully examined the WNBA’s eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion,” he said.
“Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WNBA draft in April 2027.”
Congratulations!
This is Professor Roland Fryer on @triggerpod discussing the reaction to his paper, particularly its findings on police use of lethal force.
He received death threats, required police protection (ironic), and was suspended from the Harvard faculty over a handful of jokes that supposedly created a “hostile work environment.” His research lab was shut down for good measure.
The old Twitter before @elonmusk bought it, flagged and suspended accounts simply for posting the paper, branding it as hate speech.
They had endless tolerance for Arday’s lies.
They went after Fryer for speaking the truth.
@_SiakaMassaquoi@MattWalshBlog Anyone still repeating the “nanny dog” myth is immediately disqualified from the conversation.
That lie was invented out of thin air by a woman named Lillian Rant in a 1971 New York Times article. And she was talking about SBTs.

@_SiakaMassaquoi@Regularguysmith@MattWalshBlog More than all other breeds combined.
64 or more* people in the US & Canada alone last year.
Also, countless pets and livestock.
And you are OK with it.
*Money says that pits were included among the “mixed breeds”

@TXHCREP@MattWalshBlog “it is all in how the dogs are raised and treated”
So you mistreated your dog and raised it to bite everything in sight?
You’re an ill-equipped dog owner?
Quite the admissions.
Also - if it’s all how dogs are raised, how can you say the dachshunds are inherently aggressive?
