@unormal Even cooler actually: that root which means "son of," to my understanding, is literally "born" (of water). So Rameses is Ra ("God") who is born, and by stark contrast Moses is just born of water (hence the whole basket in the stream thing). My rabbi talks about this all the time.

@dieworkwear I recently had suspender buttons sewn into my pants bc I'm sick of my discomfort with belts, constantly readjusting my pants, which get tighter or looser depending on my food intake and whatever my body is doing. The suspenders are *so* much more comfortable.

@who_shot_jgr We drive into Manhattan for synagogue on Shabbat, with our young kids, which would be too difficult on public transit. But also I have no real problem with the congestion fee, and we car pool.
