Wolfgang digs and buries. Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes it brings melancholy, and sometimes the loss is irreplaceable.

WM has had enough. He acquires a hard wooden bench for his retirement perch and pivots from producer to consumer. Enjoy!

And Suddenly You Are a Jew: WM's sitcom Shalom reimagines as a contemporary comedy in reunited Germany what he himself experienced as tragedy in Nazi Germany. No wonder the commissioning editors got cold feet. Enjoy!

In the world of public broadcasting, 'the institution' is just another word for the asylum. WM’s backhanded praise for the networks gets him a one-way ticket to the sidelines. Enjoy!
