Father to my children, husband to their mother. Full time farmer, part time AG policy nerd. I’m treating your RT like an endorsement whether you like it or not
This was written back in 2006 after my closest call with a farm accident. Take your time out there and trust your intuition.
Let’s help others on the farm. What are some of your closest calls?

@rgstone1@405farmer@Cereals_Canada@Grain_Canada Grain Commission has to spend that $100million they’ve over collected somehow
Maybe could focus on export sales reporting instead? 🤷

Thank you to @PremierScottMoe for joining GGC’s 25th Anniversary Reception as keynote speaker and for your continued support of Canadian grain farmers.
We appreciate your strong advocacy on behalf of farmers and your voice in Ottawa on the priorities that matter to our sector.
Yesterday we were pleased to lead two tours of sustainability experts from multi-national food companies exploring sustainability at scale on a grain farm, as part of the @SAIPlatform annual event.
This is wilder the longer you watch. These guys have amazing skill, but absolutely no concern for their own lives. Also doing this in the dirt means they will be doing again shorty. No power tools 🤯
Canadian grain farmers welcome the National Food Security Strategy and stand ready to strengthen food security at home and abroad.
Now, commitments on input approvals, domestic markets, supply chains and succession planning must become results.

Four years ago I was day drinking by myself at a Korean fried chicken restaurant and everyone was watching the World Cup being played in Qatar. This annoyed me as hockey is the superior sport, and so I licked my fingers and hastily fired off this tweet from my little 1,000 follower account.
It went viral and changed my life. Interviews on cable news, hundreds of thousands in endorsements, movie offers, and although I can’t say much in detail due to NDAs, let’s just say I was invited to “dinner” with a woman whose name rhymes with “Kidney Queeney.”
I measure my life as either BHT or AFT (before hockey tweet or after hockey tweet).
Thank you World Cup. Thank you for changing my life.
