Not bad for a "Guy" who had to brought back to life 6 times & struggled with homelessness & addiction for decades in #dtes. I wouldn't be alive today without harm reduction AND I wouldn't have the life I have today without my recovery. First party of 5 #family photo. #WeDoRecover
Tonight I’m at the Hearts for Homes Gala, giving a keynote about something that shouldn’t be complicated:
If we want fewer people living on our streets, we need more places for people to live.
Housing matters. But so does belonging.
We need affordable and supportive housing, and community spaces where people experiencing homelessness are welcomed, connected, and treated with dignity.
You can’t solve homelessness by pushing people from one street to another.
Give people a home, give them a community, give them somewhere to belong.
And tonight, I hope we raise a boatload of money to help make that happen. ❤️🏠
Look who I got to hang out with in Victoria!
I really enjoy spending time with people who genuinely care about making a difference, and @aileenmachell is definitely one of those people.
If you want to better understand what’s happening in politics in B.C. and across Canada, Aileen is always breaking it down and keeping people informed.
Give her a follow, you’ll learn something. 🇨🇦
Well, would you look at that... 🇨🇦
Canada named the world’s most positive global influence for the 10th year in a row.
We’re not perfect. We’ve got work to do, but damn proud to be Canadian. 🇨🇦🍁

What a massive mistake by Driscoll’s.
When families are buying food for their children, trust is everything. Once people start questioning what’s being sprayed on that food, trust disappears fast.
This photo says a lot, it could take years to earn that trust back.
Hard pass for my family.
Beautiful Vancouver 🇨🇦
Couldn’t ask for a better day to fly over to the Island. ✈️
And tonight… something pretty special is happening.
I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while, doing some big things...
Stay tuned. 👀
