Today, we Iranians are faced with something truly unbelievable:

Western, liberal, “woke” feminists, clueless about the brutal reality in our country, consistently stand with our oppressors under the delusion of saviorism. They have no understanding of the decades of humiliation, violence, and systemic oppression we’ve endured under the Islamic Republic.

Driven by their own need to feel morally superior, they claim to fight for justice while turning a blind eye to the suffering of millions. And let’s be honest, they are some of the most racist voices out there. They look at Iranians and other “brown people” as too backward, too uncivilized, too dumb to deserve real freedom or democracy. In their eyes, we’re wild animals, only manageable under tyranny.

But here’s the truth: we are the ones fighting for real freedom, the same freedom they weaponize to silence us. And we want absolutely nothing to do with their hypocrisy.

The President of the ICJ, just appointed Prime Minister of Lebanon, has called Israel an enemy.
This is the President of a court presiding over a case related to Israel—someone who is supposed to remain impartial and neutral. Yet, he refers to Israel as an enemy.
How can such a person be expected to judge Israel fairly?
President Salam’s decisions regarding Israel must be disqualified immediately. Otherwise they might as well take the “J” out of the ICJ.

🇮🇱 Il 7 ottobre appartiene per me al club triste dei giorni impossibili da dimenticare. Quelli di cui sappiamo dire tutto: cosa stavamo facendo, e dov’eravamo, quando abbiamo appreso una certa notizia. Io ad esempio quel sabato mattina ero ancora al letto. Strano, vero? Ma aprendo gli occhi, prendendo fra le mani lo smartphone, finii più o meno attorno a quest’ora sul messaggio diretto di un lettore affezionato del Blog, @Tonytruante, che sempre ringrazio. Il testo recitava più o meno così: “Attacco contro Israele”. Certo che sembrava assurdo, certo che sembrava strano, ma il tempo di realizzare che non fosse un brutto sogno, ed eccomi aprire una delle dirette per me più complicate di sempre: difficile da gestire sia nella ricerca delle notizie che dal punto di vista del carico emotivo, viste le immagini cruente che mi passavano davanti. Quella diretta andò avanti per giorni. Ma che dico? È una diretta che va avanti da un anno. Perché il 7 ottobre è ancora in corso, non avrà fine fino a quando l’ultimo ostaggio non sarà tornato a casa. Perché il 7 ottobre è l’11 settembre di Israele. È il giorno che ha cambiato il mondo. E perché un anno dopo è ancora chiaro: “Israele è sotto attacco”. Oggi come allora, per me nulla è cambiato: rispetto per i fatti sì, ma nessuna equidistanza. Sempre dalla parte di Israele, contro l’Asse del Male.
