I'm not even sure if anyone is here anymore 🤣
But for those who are... the next Women Who Code Melbourne event is happening online this Thursday

Comfycon challenges @AISA_National. If we can assemble a quality, 100% female or non binary conference, for the weekend after the 18th November, that's the weekend after PerthSec, you make a donation to @awsn_au to the Project Friedman initiative for female first time speakers.
You can’t make this shit up.. a startup founded by three women, the least technical of which has taught bootcamp courses, was told by an investor that they were concerned the startup didn’t have a tech team..
For reference, I have been trying to hire one of them for 6 years..
Noticing another increase in the number of folks looking to increase the diversity of their tech teams. Here's a view from @TechLeadLadies of what your candidates see: https://t.co/sriCG48u9C
We're also really excited to see how the product we're building over at @TDiversityLab
can help make sure that technologists get to flourish in their careers!

Read The Report!
(If you're interested & have time)
It's been great to be involved with the conversations around this - Australia has a shortage of technologists.
How can we fix it?
What should the goal be?
Thanks @techcouncil_aus
& @Accenture_ANZ

What's the best way to start up a business? With two other women in tech of course :)
Cannot wait to be able to share what we're creating....
#startup#womenintech#femalefounders
Survey (N=1,902) of women and non-binary technologists finds 90% experienced discrimination, 100% reported harassment. Only 55% believe they are paid fairly and only 63.5% reported a sense of belonging. @BrendaDardenW

That statement does indeed hurt!
Imagine the opposite, how amazing the tech industry could be if we became the best at gender equality?
#womenintech#techdiversity#genderequality
"Gender inequality is even starker in Australia than in the U.S. or U.K. The price paid — by individuals and the economy — is significant"
OUCH!
