Today begins the first day of fireworks season in unincorporated Harris County. Retail permit holders are authorized to sell fireworks to the public from today until midnight July 5th.

A slow-moving weather pattern is expected to bring multiple rounds of rain to our area beginning tonight and continuing through mid-week. Moisture moving in from the Gulf combined with slow-moving storms may lead to periods of heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
