Temps rise to 6 to 8 degrees above-normal midweek while monsoonal moisture pushes into the Desert Southwest. 🥵
Tuesday - Thursday, there is a slight chance of DRY showers & thunderstorms. ⚡️
Best chances are 30 - 40% in San Bernardino County on Tuesday.
Critical fire weather conditions are expected Friday afternoon and evening across a large portion of the region. Gusty winds and very dry conditions will produce an environment where fires that start could spread and grow rapidly. Be extra careful out there!

Another hot summer day is on tap across the Mojave Desert and southern Great Basin. If you're spending time outdoors, don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water, and remember to take plenty of breaks from the heat.
