Announcement: End of HLbot Season 1

Thank you to everyone who used HLbot.

HLbot Season 1 has grown through many experiments and active user participation.

Total Users: 17,290

Total Trading Volume: $42.61M

Total Telegram Community Channels: 36

Recently, the market has seen a surge of new Perp DEXs, making the competition extremely intense.

Even in that environment, HLbot built a community-driven trading experience and achieved meaningful results.

The data, experience, and user feedback earned throughout this journey will become valuable assets for Season 2.

✅ Season 1 Points (Completed)

With this announcement, the snapshot of all Season 1 points has been completed.

The points will be carried over and used directly in Season 2.
The achievements and progress from Season 1 will become the foundation of Season 2.

Season 2 Preview

HLbot will enter a refinement period.

In Season 2, HLbot will be launched in a new form within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
The HLbot team will evolve and expand HLbot alongside @Chartingdotag hype EVM expansion.

Asset Transfer & Private Key Backup

Grace period deadline for private key backup / asset transfer:
November 28, 2025 — AM (UTC)

After the grace period ends, Season 1 will officially close,
and system access + data retention will end permanently.

Export and store your private key yourself

⚠️ After the deadline, recovery, lookup, or support related to assets or private keys will not be possible.

Why DeFiLlama removed ASTER

Recently, DeFiLlama delisted ASTER — sparking debates and criticism about bias.
But the core issue wasn’t politics — it was data integrity.

1️⃣ Accuracy comes first — bad data = bad trades = real losses
2️⃣ No paid listings or delistings
3️⃣ Sudden volume spike → investigation → suspicious pattern → removal
4️⃣ This time, they went public for transparency
5️⃣ “Why not add a warning?” → Not technically feasible (API structure limits)
6️⃣ Not targeting ASTER — Lighter and other DEXs were also removed for wash trading

At the end of the day, it’s about trust in data.

We've been investigating aster volumes and recently their volumes have started mirroring binance perp volumes almost exactly

Chart on the left is XRPUSDT on aster, you can see the volume ratio vs binance is ~1

Chart on the right is XRP perp volume on hyperliquid, where there's some decorrelation

Aster doesn't make it possible to get lower level data such as who is making and filling orders, so until we can get that data to verify if there's washtrading, aster perp volumes will be delisted
