@sked21 Surprised he didn’t really kick on after the first 2 seasons in the lowland league. The loans at stenhousemuir & Hamilton maybe weren’t the correct places for him & if he was managed better then he probably wouldn’t be leaving us!

@GorgieTalk Good thread and wholly agree with each point 👍🏻 it would make sense to have mcfarlane out on a co-op loan with Schwolow & Fulton no.1 & 2. Then if any injury or suspension happens we can recall him until they are ready again.

@brianorbrain2 @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup Most of the squad now are late 20s / early 30s. He needs to start mixing in some younger players soon so they get to be around the experienced guys. The goalkeeper situation is the biggest worry for me.

@DavieICampbell @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup Dykes isn’t all about scoring goals, his hold up play is good, but he is limited. I think his contributions over the last few years (plus missing the last euros) merits a place in the World Cup squad. This should be the last squad he makes though
