For us, I told @PiersUncensored, the life of one Palestinian child is worth the world.
I appreciate the journey Piers travelled in reaching the truth, and respect his acknowledgement at the end of this interview the many mistakes committed by mainstream media since Oct 2023 and before. Link to the full interview https://t.co/WaDGuPfppM
Honoured to welcome Francesca Albanese, #UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in London earlier today. Francesca is a steady and powerful voice for truth, justice and international law.
With humanity, courage and conviction, Francesca has engraved her name in the Palestinian people’s long journey to freedom, justice and peace. She has our deepest respect and gratitude.

Speaking this morning at the Palestinian Breakfast at the London Halal Forum about Israel's economic and financial war machine against the Palestinian people.
They use bombs to kill our people and economic strangulation to drive us out. Different tools, same end: genocide.

London, now. The 37th National March against #genocide and #occupation. Three years on, Israel’s atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank continue, and so does the solidarity of the British people. Louder, bigger, and not going anywhere. Thank you all.

Beyond the fact that the closure of the British consulate in East Jerusalem - occupied Palestinian territory - is not in Israel’s prerogative, it is yet another attempt by this far-right Israeli government to block a two-state solution.
It is illegal, and the UK must resist it.
“Has there been #genocide in #Gaza?” @NickFerrariLBC asked Prime Minister Andy Burnham and me.
Yes. We must stop debating terminology. It cannot become a delay tactic when we have a legal and moral duty to stop the ongoing genocide we failed to prevent.
More than 80 years of ethnic cleansing and erasure of the Palestinian people demand action. It is long overdue.

Arguing over terminology must not become a delaying tactic to avoid our legal and moral obligation to act — to stop the ongoing genocide, having failed to prevent it in the first place. The human reality cannot be argued away.
‘Once you accept it’s a genocide, states have to act immediately.’
Andy Burnham won’t call what’s happening in Gaza a genocide, @NickFerrariLBC asks @HZomlot why not.
Yes, it is.
And we still have some way to go. ✊🏽
‘This is Palestine’s South Africa moment’: Palestinian ambassador praises Miliband’s ‘historic’ sanctions https://t.co/XRGAl4nlqO
“This is first and foremost about humanity”.
Ambassador @hzomlot spoke movingly of a conversation with the Foreign Secretary about their mothers, one the child of a Holocaust survivor, one a child of the Nakba, both wanting the same thing: peace.
Palestine’s message from Liverpool, beside the UK Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband shortly after his historic Labour conference speech.
To the British people who led the largest and longest protest movement this country has ever seen, in solidarity with the people of Palestine: thank you. This moment belongs to you and to the global movement for justice, accountability and peace.
The march to freedom continues.
Thank you to everyone who joined our LFPME reception.
A historic moment with a Labour Government leading with values in action, and recognising those who have campaigned for peace, justice and freedom for Palestine. 🇬🇧🤝🇵🇸
H.E. Ambassador @hzomlot took part today in the Arab Ambassadors Council reception, which took place alongside the Labour Party autumn conference in Liverpool.
“we must remember the example of apartheid South Africa. The boycott and sanctions campaign was resisted by Western governments, including the British one, and their action is remembered now as lagging behind their people.
This time, the UK can lead and be judged differently, if it holds its nerve, moving together with a growing number of partners, as it did with the 11 other governments two weeks ago.
Next year marks 110 years since the Balfour Declaration, 80 since the UN partition vote, and 60 since the occupation began. Palestine has had enough beginnings. What it needs now is an ending.
For the first time in a generation, law, politics and sentiment in London are beginning to point the same way. This is Britain’s chance to lead a better future and redeem the past.
When the occupation ends, and it will, the path to a peace rooted in justice, dignity and equality can finally be laid.”
One year on, the UK’s recognition of Palestinian statehood is bearing fruit https://t.co/mR8RLYvxmx via @AJEnglish
