“In a world full of images, I’m not interested in adding more images. I’m interested in what an image can carry emotionally.”
@aylaelmoussa True that a small number of dealers control the very top of the traditional art market. But globally the trad ecosystem is far more diverse, with thousands of galleries, dealers, and collectors across many regions and price points supporting a wide range of work.
In Web3 there is often a concentrated group shaping narratives, yet the bigger constraint is still too few serious collectors relative to the number of artists trying to participate. Blockchain delivers real improvements, transparent histories, provenance, and programmable royalties, but it does not create collectors or expand the overall market size. Those remain human and social challenges. The infrastructure helps; the pie itself needs to grow.
