I’m not sure how we got here so fast but my girl’s first day of middle school has arrived. We are so excited she’s a @LakesideMS_Lex1 Raider this year! I am so excited to watch her continue to learn and grow! Happy first day of school! 💙💚
Words are so powerful! Don’t ever believe that a note of appreciation doesn’t go a long way. These words from my colleagues wrote in a book they gave me will forever stay in my heart and mind. 💕
Targeting students’ interests is a powerful motivator. Learning about how to teach literacy skills as students learn about topics they want to know more about. Thank you, @HalfacreHope@WhitneyUmbarger@juliewright4444#k8litcon
Everything I do and every decision I make in my role is for the best interest of the students at MGES. It was such a nice surprise last week to receive this note from a parent recognizing what I do. 🫶🏻
We had the best time hosting Trick or Treating with Instructional Service Providers! Our teachers received treats and tricks to help their students in the classroom. We loved having them pop in throughout the day! Happy Halloween! 🎃 @MGESliteracyRTI@MGES510
We couldn’t be prouder of our intervention instructional assistant, Cindy Cavalear for winning MGES Support Staff Member of the year! The work she does each day to help our students is incredible! We are so excited she earned this well-deserved honor! @MGESliteracyRTI
Culture is not just one thing; it’s everything. Culture drives expectation and beliefs. Expectations and beliefs drive behaviors. Behaviors drive habits. And habits create the future. It all starts with culture.

We love the program Book by Book that helps us fill our students’ home libraries. Today was even better because my mom is helping out with the program this year. 💕
We’ve been working hard with helping our Ss transfer their learning in RTI/Reading Recovery to their classrooms. What is better than having your own personal toolbox to help you with reading and writing in the classroom?! My S was so excited to have these tools in his classroom!
