The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a ride share driver following a sexual assault investigation in Burlington.

Police are concerned there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information on this investigation, or anyone who has been victimized by the accused to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.

Halton Police have arrested a Milton man after seizing 22 electronic devices valued at more than $36,000 in connection with a "fake agent" fraud.

Scammers pose as telecom employees, convince victims to order "free" devices, then have them shipped to a PO Box they control.

Always verify unsolicited calls with your provider before sending any device.
