@qrsupport@qatarairways Thank you for responding to my side messages, Qatar Airways. Your reply basically says that I should have gone to the airport during a winter storm just to avoid rebooking fees. Passenger safety should not be secondary to policy.

@qatarairways I’m really disappointed with how my recent flight situation was handled. I’ve always thought of Qatar Airways as one of the best airlines, which is why this experience caught me off guard. Over the last 24 hours, the CVG area received about 25 inches of snow.
@qatarairways Anyone familiar with CVG understands how unsafe and disruptive these conditions were. I honestly believed Qatar Airways was the best airline and that passenger safety came first. After this experience, it’s clear I was wrong.

@qatarairways Since that wasn’t realistic or safe, I ended up paying over $400 to rebook my flight myself even though this situation was completely out of my control. It’s frustrating to be put in that position after reaching out in advance for help.
@qatarairways I tried to be proactive, but I was left with no options. On the day of travel, I was still expected to get to the airport in the middle of a snowstorm.
@qatarairways Anyone who lives here knows how bad and unsafe the conditions were.
Earlier this week, I called twice to ask if I could move my flight earlier or later because of the incoming storm. Both times I was told nothing could be done unless my flight was officially delayed or cancelled.
