While Artificial Intelligence has largely been taught as an optional or vocational subject elsewhere in India, Punjab is the first state to introduce AI as a core subject in its school curriculum. Students from Classes 1 to 12 will now learn AI as part of mainstream education, equipping them with the skills needed for a rapidly evolving world.

पंजाब के स्कूलों में अब AI हर बच्चे के लिए अनिवार्य विषय होगा।

आज शिक्षा मंत्री @harjotbains जी के साथ इस ऐतिहासिक पाठ्यक्रम को लॉन्च करने का अवसर मिला। इसका उद्देश्य केवल बच्चों को AI का उपयोग करना सिखाना नहीं, बल्कि उन्हें AI के युग में जीने, सोचने और आगे चलकर AI Creator बनने के लिए तैयार करना है।

पूरे देश में, यहाँ तक कि CBSE में भी AI अभी तक अनिवार्य विषय नहीं है। जहाँ भी इसकी शुरुआत हुई है, वहाँ इसे वैकल्पिक विषय के रूप में ही पढ़ाया जाता है। पंजाब ने एक बार फिर शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में भविष्य की दिशा तय करने का साहसिक कदम उठाया है।

Today marks Day 2 of the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

As Parliament debates the nation's future, the nation's future is being beaten on the streets. Yesterday, students demanding justice and education reforms faced tear gas and lathi-charge instead of dialogue.

I call upon every Opposition leader to make the voice of India's students the first issue raised in Parliament today. A democracy cannot claim to protect its future while silencing its youth.

Their voices must be heard.
