@cllrsamwebster I am a proud Labour Party member, however I believe that it is the duty of anyone with an audience and a position in our democracy to fully understand and check what information they put out.
@cllrsamwebster I fully agree that people not taking part in elections is a huge threat to our democracy, but misinformation is also an issue. To acquire an Oyster card I fill in a form online. To apple for a senior Oyster card I have to submit identification

@Nottm_Con I work in the industry and have spoken to several big companies about this that have said they would love to sponsor or offer their support for such a thing, including local businesses as well. It’s such an important part of our cities history and it seems to have been forgotten.
@Nottm_Con Lace! We invented technology more than 150 years ago that revolutionised the fashion industry & is still being used today. Calais has an incredible lace museum. Our council has one of the biggest lace archives in the world and it’s kept under lock and key. Crazy to me.
@WarpfiendS@tabletop_ic I’ve been amazed at the results I’ve had from my Mars 2 Pro with very little experimentation. You can also get bigger items by rotating your prints 45 degrees and printing diagonally across the bed. It’s also really easy to print in two pieces and stick them together.
@nottmhistory@BromleyHouseLib I used to love sitting in the garden behind Paul Smith when it was Fashion. It was a very strange cafe, but the setting was incredible!
@TomBrewstErr I came home from SHUX to find my steam deck waiting for me, which has been great for playing games in bed at 5am when my brain still thinks I’m in Vancouver. Portal 2 has been lulling me to sleep to dream of robotic overlords.
That said, it is a strange torture to be hearing people having a blast playing @BloodClocktower as run by @bungeeman17 but being unable to join in because you’re demoing games on the other side of the hall! Luckily, Village Rails is great fun!
@moregamespls@RobGrayston We are running the first one in Nottingham in November, but they are played around the country semi regularly. You can find a list here…

@moregamespls What’s your next TV show? I am obsessively refreshing Amazon prime because I can’t wait to watch the new episode of Star Trek lower decks
I’ve bought a resin 3D printer to make gaming miniatures and I’m equal parts excited and daunted!
I think our dogs hung out yesterday.
Thanks to all those who have signed up for the mailing list and shown an interest in Nottingham's first megagame, we'll be releasing further details on Den of Wolves (and tickets!) soon.
In the meantime, it looks like there's some tricky ones in here...
