I thought my transition into the Academic world would be easy. After all, I had the experience, and frankly, how hard can teaching be?

I was wrong. Knowing something and being able to teach that to a large group of students in a Classroom are two very different things.

India needs more educators who come from the industry. Indian Management education would be richer with a trained group of teachers who can blend theory and practice, rigor and relevance, help people think in terms of frameworks, but focus on the action and outcomes.

We need to build a large pool of 'Pracademics' to enhance the quality and impact of management education in India.

At the International Institute for Faculty & Research, we aim to make a difference with the 8-day Educator Certificate program meant for senior professionals and executives who want to bring their experience back into the classroom.
