As the largest association of #ProLife pregnancy help, we provide true care and support to empower women and save lives thru PHOs and Abortion Pill Reversal.
Thank you @ArchCordileone and Bishop Barber for boldly talking about this case and what it means -- not for us, but for women and the babies they are trying to save.
California’s case against second chances: The state is suing Christian nonprofits that help women save their unborn babies, write @ArchCordileone and Michael C. Barber

"California v. Heartbeat International and RealOptions is a rare case that should bring together both sides of the abortion debate. In particular, it tests the souls of those who claim the platform of 'pro-choice.'"
"What kind of people see a pregnant woman who wants to reverse the effects of an abortion pill and think, 'Let’s punish the nonprofits that informed her she has a choice'?"

Elizabeth was a cashier at Lowe's, barely scraping by, when she found out she was pregnant.
Planned Parenthood told her she could start a chemical abortion that day—or try to get back on the packed schedule later. Feeling cornered, she took the first pill.
She hadn't even left the building when she learned the baby's father wanted to keep their child. And it hit her—she'd wanted that too, all along.
She tried to throw the pill up. Then she found a number buried on page 3 of Google: the Abortion Pill Reversal helpline.
A nurse answered. A doctor called back in 15 minutes. By that evening, she'd started treatment. Her beautiful baby daughter was born healthy in January 2024.
Now California's Attorney General is suing @HeartbeatIntl and @Realoptionsc, the very groups that helped Elizabeth—claiming it's "fraud" to tell women about Abortion Pill Reversal. He wants crippling fines, a permanent gag order, and censorship.
This is playing politics in the courtroom with real lives at stake, plain and simple. That's where Thomas More Society comes in.
We took this case, and after two years of hard-fought litigation, we've taken the state's arguments apart piece by piece and found zero consumer complaints. Zero evidence that APR is harmful.
Our hearing is April 15. We'll keep fighting to keep that phone line ringing.
Beginning now: Day 9 of trial in our case defending the right to speak about Abortion Pill Reversal, People of the State of California v. Heartbeat International & RealOptions. Here's what we expect today in court.

I’ve repeatedly seen people claim that the only study on Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) had to be stopped because women kept having severe haemorrhages caused by APR.
That’s 👏 not 👏 true 👏

“We were deeply grateful... [for Dobbs], but this is a clear step backwards, And it’s... deeply frustrating because the votes were there a year ago.”

We're so thankful for @ArchCordileone's call for prayer and advocacy on behalf of @HeartbeatIntl, Real Options, and the many women we serve.
No woman should be forced to continue an abortion she no longer wants and we will continue to fight for the right to say so.
Please pray for the attorneys defending vulnerable women in the CA v. Heartbeat International case and pray for the women seeking to reverse abortion pills. Using commercial fraud statutes to shut down access to full medical information and the full range of freedom of choice is an abuse of power by the state of CA, especially given zero complaints and saved lives.

The California AG has argued that photographs of children saved through APR are "irrelevant" to the case.
We respectfully disagree.
Behind every face is a mother who reached out in one of the darkest moments of her life, hoping someone would answer. These children are living reminders that the information she received mattered, the choice she made mattered, and these lives matter.

As today's trial continues, we ask God to give wisdom to everyone involved. May truth be revealed without distortion, may every attempt to obscure it fail, and may righteousness prevail.
Lord, let Your light shine brightly in this courtroom today. We place these proceedings in Your hands.

No woman should be told it’s too late—when it isn’t.
Stories like this prove that access to abortion pill reversal information matters.

Day 3 of Trial in People of the State of California v. @HeartbeatIntl & @Realoptionsc!
We are back in court in Alameda County, California this morning, where TMS Special Counsel @PaulJonna continues cross-examination of Dr. Mitchell Creinin—an abortionist and author of a study the California AG uses as a basis for their lawsuit seeking to silence speech on Abortion Pill Reversal and to fine HBI and RealOptions $20M+ for speech about APR.
