I went to Step 5 ; Essex Senior League in Mile End.
To search for the new Richard Koné I guess.

I saw a few good players and I continue scaling up the levels.
Newham had a striker, 19 from Kinetic Foundation then Ipswich Town last season called Chuks Uzor. Some work to do in front of goal but got his 4 or 5 chances eventually tapping one home. Omar Eisa came on upfront, we'll have a look again.

I liked the Soul Tower Hamlet winger, #15 who I reckon is Rian Patel ; left footed left winger who put a lot of good deliveries.
Goalkeeper Sidi Haidara Ali was composed, not the tallest but confident to claim and made a fantastic double save from consecutive shots.

Soul Tower Hamlet starting the season well as a promoted side, Athletic Newham cut in two and was 4-0 down at half time at the bottom of the table. They made the second half more of the match, hey won it 2-1 actually.

Pitch was unfit to land a Boring C-17 Globemaster III , golden hour was nice then the temperature dropped to -17° Celsius when the sun disappeared 🥶 also I saw a fox 🦊

What a night under the lights at the Mile End Stadium Lights!

An electric performance from the lads saw us put five past our opponents, with Jason, Rian (brace), Carvell and Salim all on the scoresheet. Special mention to Rian Patel, who takes home a well-deserved MOTM.

To our incredible fans your voices, passion and belief carried us tonight. Every cheer, every chant, every clap means the world to us.

Together, we are building something special here at Soul Tower Hamlets, and nights like this remind us why we fight for every ball, every goal, every win. 🐾❤️
But the journey doesn’t stop here. This weekend we go again, as we turn our focus to the FA Vase against Sheppey Sports 🏆⚽️. Another big challenge, another chance to write our story together.
