Agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment and I say this as someone who lives on Streatham High Road. I bought on a busy high road, there's gonna be some noise, that's fine.
Living in a dense urban area with every amenity available to you means accepting the noise, chaos and vibrancy of that medley. London nightlife has been dying on its knees. If you want quiet, or a slower pace of life, embrace the suburbs. Don't kill the city for everyone else
If Lib Dems are the third party in terms of parliamentary seats why does Reform (five seats) have a rep on #PoliticsLive and not the Lib Dems (72 Seats)?
Love it when I come to an industry conference like mining, where it’s 95% men in navy suits, and there’s an older woman in a multi coloured top and a blue streak in her hair. More of this please!
As China and big names like Nvidia, Intel, Amazon and Microsoft back humanoid robots, how likely are we to see them soon? https://t.co/V2G862gFNm #Tech#HumanoidRobots
@Brink_Thinker I am not that old and was allowed to go out in the summer holidays all day with my cousin, without a phone, and had to be back by 6.30pm. We obviously said we were going one place but went to another we weren’t allowed.
I want platforms like @vintedUK to succeed as it’s sustainable shopping (V important), but honestly, the prices people are willing to pay are just too low, it’s not worth the effort for a tenner. I just give everything to the charity shop now.
I had the pleasure of speaking with @Templafy CISO Ellen Benaim for @techmonitorai
In our interview we discussed everything from shadow IT to agentic AI and vendors being ‘simply not up to scratch', as well as what keeps her up at night!

I am looking to Western Australia mining recruitment experts about skills shortages and jobs availability in WA mining sector & anyone else with insight to add. Please email me asap #Journorequest
It was a pleasure, as always, to contribute to a reNEWS report. For this year's report on renewables in Ireland I covered the large-scale battery energy storage sector.
I’m working on an article about how much tech is in modern cars, and I’d love to get drivers’ thoughts. Is it too distracting? What are your main concerns? Is it marketing hype, or does it genuinely improve safety and convenience?
Let me know your thoughts! #journorequest
More from me: Software developers are quickly learning the good, the bad, and the ugly of outsourcing app development to AI – and CIOs have much to learn from their vibe coding experiences.

From me: As global copper shortages loom, the mining industry is turning to nascent technology to find ways to extract larger volumes of copper more sustainably. https://t.co/dtr89ywBWb... #Mining#Technology#Innovation in #Sustainability
Thank you @abports21 for a very swanky summer event last night. A very interesting crowd including Michael Gove, who gave a surprising speech and who I also had a chat with. I also spotted David Davies lurking about. The National Gallery is such a beautiful location.
“I’ve never seen such societal acceptance of mining” – Wheaton Precious Metals’ Randy Smallwood
But he also warns the industry must live up to the moment and put environment and society at the heart of what it does - read the full interview here: https://t.co/E5khdEAnT5
