All in all, #TheChi series finale wasn’t bad at all. I give it a 8.

The last few minutes had me crying like a baby because we grew up with Emmett, Kiesha, Tiff, Papa, Kev, Jake, and later Bakari.

While Jada should have never died, it was nice to see Emmett become a major success and the mural of her is beautiful.

Seeing the OG crew reunite while the torch is sorta passed on to the new Chi was perfect. Maybe there’s room for a sequel series? That’s what the ending gave me, potential to expand. And if they didn’t, that’s fine too. But if a spinoff comes, I’m in.

Did I think we’d get 90 minutes? Yeah.

BUT, they did good with the hour we got.

I hope there’s a documentary coming about the last 8 years of the show featuring interviews with the cast.
