You can only be in one place at a time. The internet does not care. Amiko gives you a twin that thinks like you and acts for you everywhere you are not, so nothing slips while you live your life.
Here is how, guided by Bob.
New week, new Amiko Team Space.
Last week, we took Discovery to Malaysia. AIMTO gave us a chance to test a simple idea: if you’re surrounded by hundreds of people, could Amiko help you find the few you want to meet?
We’ll also talk about what’s changing in Discovery since the event, what we’re building next, and everything else happening around Amiko.
Plus our usual roundtable on what’s new, weird, and interesting in AI this week.

AMIKO Weekly Developer Update 8/15/26
This week brought Discovery to the web, making Amiko’s personalized search and matching available to more people, on more devices.
We also introduced aRDi, a new AI assistant built for AI Malaysia Takeover, available both inside Amiko and as a standalone experience. Profiles and personalized recommendations got smarter, chat and notifications now surface important activity more clearly, and we continued expanding multilingual support and platform reliability.
The bigger picture: Amiko is becoming better at understanding who you are, helping you find the people and Twins you’ll actually want to know, and putting useful AI assistance wherever you need it.

Describe the person you’re looking for. Your twin goes and finds them in a room of 3,000. That’s what Amiko did at AIMTO 2026.
As the Social Partner, we put Amiko Discovery on the floor. People built a twin in minutes, told Amiko who they wanted to meet, and it went looking. The payoff kept happening in front of us: two strangers who’d have walked past each other all weekend, at a table across the hall, deep in the conversation that brought them there.
On stage, our founder Matthew Graham (@mattyryze) laid out where this goes. Social AI that works for people, twins that help you connect, coordinate, and find your people, instead of one more feed fighting for your attention.
We also ran an aRDi demo for Rakyat Digital, and you’d sometimes catch the team standing next to their own twin.
The connections don’t end when the event does. This was the Amiko team’s first activation at this scale, and it won’t be the last.

Day Two at AIMTO 2026. Amiko keeps going.
At 11 AM, our founder Matthew Graham (@mattyryze) takes the Pasar AI stage to talk about your AI twin and the future of how people connect. If you’re here, be in the room. We’ll share what he covers, for everyone else.
Yesterday, we launched our Amiko Discovery App, designed to connect people not only worldwide, but especially at events like AIMTO or communities like Malaysia’s Tech and AI scene.
We helped people walk into a room of 3,000 and find who they were looking for. You can do that too, no matter where you are.
The booth is open all day. Meet the team, create your twin, tell it who you’re looking for, and find them before the Takeover ends.
Come find your people.
Live now on the Play Store and as a web app at https://t.co/VqHOFk8eUh
The team saw Discovery work in real time. People created a twin, then asked for and connected with the exact people they wanted to meet at this event. For work, for play, maybe even love.
We even heard about a few spontaneous Amiko meetups happening on campus. Real results for brand new users.
If you’re at AIMTO, find us on the floor or at the booth. Our team (and their twins 😉) are spreading the word and helping people get started with Amiko Discovery.
Day one of AIMTO, AI Malaysia Takeover, is complete, and the Amiko team is having a blast.
Amiko Discovery went live yesterday, and this was the first time anyone used it in public. It’s on the Play Store now, plus a PWA on our site. iOS is in Apple review.

New week, new Amiko Team Space.
The Amiko Discovery app is now live on Google Play and on the web, and today we’ll let you in on how the app and the Amiko x AIMTO event experience came together in less than two weeks.
We’ll talk about how Amiko Discovery became a lightweight event app, what it’s designed to do at AI Malaysia Takeover, and how this becomes a repeatable product that future event organizers and communities can customize and deploy.
Plus: smarter matching, richer chat + mobile, Notes and Feed upgrades, Create Studio improvements, and the rest of this week’s build.

AMIKO Weekly Developer Update 8/8/26
This week focused on making Amiko better at understanding what, and who, you’re looking for, while giving users more ways to create, communicate, and share.
Discovery and matching now use more of your profile and memory to surface relevant people and content, while chat gained read management, mentions, pinned messages, drafts, and smoother mobile interactions. We also began rolling out Notes for richer posts, expanded Create Studio previews and media tools, and added prompt sharing so creations and ideas can move more easily between people.
The bigger picture: Amiko is getting better at connecting what it knows about you with who you discover, what you create, and how you interact across the platform.
