So much to learn when building a tech product
Last 4 months for me it’s been
- ReactJs (JavaScript, JSX)
- CSS
- Laravel (PHP)
- DevOps
- MySQL
- SEO
This was after 2 years of learning #nocode platforms such as: Adalo, AppGyver, Bubble & Backendless
The tradeoff to growing as a person is an unconscious decrease in empathy. The more I raise the bar for myself, the less patient I become. Subjectively inconsequential behaviors in others that I didn't necessarily care about in the past, now seemingly matter.
Expectations increase, which positively allows me to be more intentional about who I surround myself with. But negatively, it can also come at the cost of being less flexible in how I perceive people.
Have to actively remind myself that everyone is at their own specific leg of the journey, as was I at a point in my life. Maybe I'm further from the start, but still nowhere near the finish line. Need to encourage, teach, and guide. To cast unfounded judgment is to disrespect my own story.
It’s been an intense 2 weeks and today I’m feeling tired, feel like I deserve a rest day
Then I remembered it’s these moments that build character.
I’ll rest on Sunday
