Si Martin

I'm a massive nerd. I hide this by using words like dude and man. I play drums in @MusicofJunior, founder of @HATW_uk and DJ at @TeamUpCardiff

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

Remember when Fall Out Boy had Jay-Z on the opener of Thriller literally just to shout hype words? I want those days back.

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

Hate that I’ve come out of X retirement just to complain to the council about traffic lights. Gone full dad mode.

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

Hey @CaerphillyCBC the temporary lights on the roundabout leading up to the train station by Van Road are full on broken. Stuck on red in all directions causing big traffic problems.

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@hayleyrFoto Haha I have SO much footage of me doing exactly this while making TikToks for HATW 😅

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@bethanmillerco Getting the name totally wrong for the drum skin listing is the icing on the cake

🫶 self-love is punk rock. 🤘

For me, punk rock has always been about being yourself, and it not mattering what anyone else thinks of you. It’s about rebellion against “the norm”. And it’s about freedom in all sorts of forms. 1/5

@tomxweaver Madcap Coffee was great in Detroit 🤝

Touring crew/artists - how do you look after your mental health while you’re on tour? Especially for longer runs?

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@Nedrixx Love all of these. I’m a big fan of walking around & trying to experience/imagine what it’s like to live in that place.

Are those all things you’d do at home too? Especially seeking out dope nature stuff?

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@ImaniGivertz @Lucaswoodland Oh that’s awesome. I’ve made a point of trying to do some of the Apple Fitness+ workouts backstage (easier in some backstage spaces than others.. 🙄) do you follow a set workout? Or just moving however feels right that day?

(Also big yes to accepting your routine is different!)

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@Lucaswoodland Love this. I think especially the idea of going to a cinema that really is an immersive experience. Thank you for sharing! Love you xo

Please can one of the science teachers on here explain why the foil that was more than sufficiently covering an entire Easter egg suddenly can’t stretch itself to cover a now half-eaten Easter egg?

[Si Martin @HimynameisSi]

@SeanSmithSucks If it’s DJ Sammy’s Heaven I’m gonna lose my tiny mind
